Hobbies
In high school, I participated in many clubs and sports. I played jv and varsity level volleyball for 3 years on a club team, varsity level lacrosse for two years, orchestra for four years, and did many community service projects. I was a nanny for four years to three different families and I absolutely love kids. Here at K-State, I am involved in the Greek system and joined the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Zeta was new on campus last year, but it is the second largest Greek house in the country; I love being a part of something new and being able to shape traditions here while still being considered a part of something old and significant. I also am involved in intramural volleyball through my sorority and smaller community service projects other than just our national philanthropy which is breast cancer awareness and education. I am also involved in an on-campus Christian organization. As a freshman, I am finally figuring out the best study habits and am full of suggestions and advice on many different subjects. I feel like I would get along well with almost any student due to closeness in age, but I am able to draw the line and keep a studious and professional attitude. I am confident I could be helpful to your student.
