Experience
I have had experience with unpaid tutoring done through organizations such as Adopt-a-School. I really enjoy volunteering my time and simply reading with kids. My ACT score was a 26. I am majoring in elementary education so any experience with students is a great way for me to enhance my teaching abilities and grow as a future teacher. I am a Sophomore in standing but this is only my second semester at K-State. This semester I am taking a Teaching as Career class and an Early Field Experience class. I am a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Kansas National Education Association Student Program, a Tomorrow's Teacher Scholarship recipient, and a Leadership Scholar at Kansas State University.
