ACT Composite score: 24 I want to be a tutor because I used to help my classmates with their homework, even when I didn't have the same classes as them. I am a good student and I believe that tutoring kids would help me to be more prepared for my student teaching in the future. I took four years of Spanish in high school and was the best student in my class. I took four years of English and I got rather good scores on my papers and my papers for other classes. I enjoy writing and I critique all my papers at least two different times before I hand them in. I have always been good at social studies and history courses. This is in part because I love history and I find it interesting. Also I'm great at using textbooks as resources. I have been a babysitter for two and a half years for a now nine-year-old girl and a twelve-year-old boy, who were brother and sister. I was also in Girl Scouts from the second grade until i graduated from high school. I was also an all A student throughout middle school. During high school i began to have problems with math so I got B's in most of those classes but for the most part in high school i was an all A student but my senior year I challenged myself with harder classes and so I got a few B's second semester. I took three years of Honors language classes and I took honors world history, all of which I passed with an A.
