Just graduated from Garden City Community College and am now attending Kansas State University majoring in Nutrition and Kinesiology. My current GPA is 3.6 and I will be attending KSU as a Junior.
Experience
At Garden City Community College I had tutoring experience through the TRIO program. I tutored in subjects such as Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra. A reason a want to be a tutor is because I feel many times students don't always understand what is shown in the classroom. Many times we need an opportunity to speak with someone 1 on 1 on a certain aspect of the course. I feel that goes a long way in academic success. As mentioned I have tutored and taken Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra. Some other classes that I have completed and wish to tutor are courses such as Biology, Spanish, and Anatomy and Physiology (Human Body).
