I have excelled in pretty much every type of class requiring mathematical skills. Algebra, Accounting, and Finance are my strongest areas but I am adept in other areas as well. I want to become a tutor because I remember in high school I never had very good grades. This wasn't due to a lack of intelligence as much as a lack of knowledge of how to study and how to do well in classes. I know if I had learned the skills I learned in college back in high school I could have made college much cheaper for myself. I am hoping to be able to help some students avoid the mistakes that I made. Additionally in the time I have spent in college I maintained employment along with other campus activities. This was difficult for me to do and keep up with my studies at the same time but it was necessary.
