Experience

I have a great deal of experience working with kids of all ages, and was also tutored in high school. Therefore, I understand the frustration of struggling in a subject, and have a better idea of what a student wants in a tutor. After I graduate, I hope to work in the area of literacy. There are reading specialist positions in public schools, as well as non-profit organizations that work in this area. I'd be pleased to work in either environment. I do believe tutoring would give me more teaching experience that would strengthen me in my future career.
